Starting in 2015 and continuing in phases until 2020, Tomorrowland 2055 will be the next major addition to Magic Kingdom, and the Tomorrowland refurbishment that finally works and sticks. The area will be based on a romantic's tomorrow from the 20th Century, not necessarily what it is expected to look like. Utilizing a $500 million dollar budget, every attraction is able to receive at least a minor refurbishment, or even a replacement. Underneath, you will see an outline of when each project will be completed along with the budget. As you will be able to tell, I am an IP heavy guy when it comes to Tomorrowland 2055, for two reasons. One, there are many IP's that fit well in Tomorrowland, and second because if we are supposed to take a realistic stab at a Tomorrowland refurbishment, chances are that it will still be IP heavy due to lack of creativity or whatever you want to call it (cheapness?) from Disney. Additionally, this expansion is set out as if it were announced today; Disney would not have all of this done by 2018, lets be realistic. 2020 is an accurate time as to when all of this could be completed, with new experiences opening in phases just like New Fantasyland did, but only dragged out a bit longer. Anyways, without further adieu, Tomorowland 2055:
