Tron : Revolution & Gift Shop
Tron:Revolution is a new state of the art musical, and also the replacement to Carousel of Progress. Now, I must give credit where credit is due, so I would like to thank TheOriginalTiki from WDWMagic for brainstorming this idea last round, and I just ran with it here. Tron lends itself fairly well to a musical stunt show, picture it as Terminator 2 at Universal and techno. The facade is obviously Flynn's Arcade, and we enter through the front door.
After winding your way through arcade games (which you can play as you wait), you will pick up your glasses, which you must not put on until you are seated. There will be two medium sized theaters to keep the line moving, with each starting halfway through the other. As you walk into the dark, you are instructed to put on your glasses, which make the walls and seats glow like you are inside the world of Tron. Once everyone is seated, you hear the music grow louder and louder, and when the beat drops, it goes wild. Lights are flashing, the Daft Punk crew is in AA form on the stage, spinning the tracks as you go. Unfolding from the stage in front of you, the screens surrounding you, or actors running all over the theater, it is mayhem. You see battles going on, light cycles a la the Terminator Motorcycle, as it is crazy until the song changes, and then you are starting over. The show lasts about 6 minutes, but feels like an eternity. Also, there will by MANY warnings about the loudness and strobe lights and the epilepsy could trigger if you are in poor health, and there will be no exceptions. Young children will also not be allowed to Experience the Revolution. If you are wondering what the story is, you wouldn't be the only one. Just like the recent movie, it doesn't really make sense, but it is a lot of fun when the action is going on. Now of course, there is a Tron based storyline that movie fans would understand, but to the general public, just like the movie, you are just enjoying the effects. As it is customary for the majority of Disney World attractions to have a gift shop at the end, this is no exception, selling anything and everything Tron. Below is a song from the Tron Legacy soundtrack, which features the kind of music you could expect to hear.
tomorrowland speedway demolition
No, you are not dreaming. The dreaded, gas guzzling cars are finally gone, leaving room for a very nice sized expansion to the land, which you will find out about in 2019 and 2020. The cars will have their last lap around the Speedway in August 2016, giving families one last time to ride the inexplicably popular ride.
Large Buzz Lightyear refurbishment
Because there are many new experiences for guests opening in 2016, I feel that we would be fine closing Buzz Lightyear before the Holidays (early December to be exact) so there is more time to renovate it before it reopens in November 2017.
The main issue that a lot of people seem to have with Buzz is not that it features the character, but that it is the toy version of him and the other characters instead of the Space Ranger version like the old TV show. With this large, year long refurbishment, that will change. You will no longer be shooting at batteries, but at Zurg's henchmen AA figures. All of the tacky cardboard cutouts will be gone, replaced with either real set pieces or AA's. Going out to the facade, it will now change to look like one of Star Command's HQ's, and the interior will reflect that. One scene in particular has so much potential, but it is so poorly executed that it has become a liability in the ride. That scene is the video tunnel, and it will be taken out of its misery and replaced with an actual scene featuring the good guys on your left and the bad guys on your right. Additionally, as this ride now no longer features the toy versions, Buzz's crew from the show now pops up in the ride and assists us and Buzz. Why they are not in the ride right now (plush figures would sell like hotcakes) I don't have the slightest clue.

Lastly, the vehicles will finally receive the DL treatment and be able to be taken out of the holster. Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin will go from being one of the weakest shooter ride in Orlando to being top tier with Men in Black.
With two straight jam packed years, we are about to hit cruise control and hit a couple years with minimal additions, but don't sleep on 2018. There will still be some refurbishments that help cement Tomorrowland as the best land in the Magic Kingdom.
